The Office of the Municipal Agriculturist (OMAG) is responsible for the promotion of agricultural development and growth through increased productivity and income of farmers.

OMAG provides the following services:

• Provision of technical assistance and other services
• Registration and Licensing of fisherfolk, fishing boats and gears
• Issuance of auxiliary invoice of fishery products for transport
• Enrollment of farmers to PCIC crop, livestock and fishery insurance
• Enrollment of farmers, fisherfolks and farm laborers to the Registry System for Basic Sectors in Agriculture (RSBSA)
• Artificial Insemination and treatment of Large Ruminants
• Mass Vaccination of Cats and Dogs
• Provision of vegetable seeds
• Issuance of Certification for agricultural and fishery loans and other agricultural related transactions
• Provision of Technical Assistance for Ginuyod Production
• Provision of Technical Assistance for Pineapple Production
• Provision of Technical Assistance for HVC Production
• Provision of Technical Assistance for King Crab Raising/ Production
• Provision of Tilapia Fingerlings
• Provision of Technical Assistance for Buffalo Raising/ production
• Provision of biologics for livestock raisers
• Provision of vegetable seeds and other planting materials
• Leasing of Tractor, Harvester, and other Agriculture Equipment
• Conduct of trainings for farmers, fisherfolks, and women and youth in agriculture
